Students in DPEC have opportunities to enter for a wide range of public examinations such as:

  • Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE) conducted by the Edo State ministry of education conducted by the Edo State ministry of Education and National Examination Council (NECO).
  • West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE): Conducted by the West African Examination council (WAEC).
  • Senior School Certificate (SSCE) conducted by the National Examination Council (NECO).

Criteria For Enrolment Only students who nee dthe following criteria shall be deemed eligible for the external examinations:

  • Students must have passed all the subjects in the promotion examination from J.S.2 to S.S.2 respectvely at credit level.
  • And student who failed more than two core subject in J.S.2 and S.S.2 classes will not be eligible for certificate classes.
  • Students for the NECO SSCE are required to participate in the capturing of their biometric data.
  • Any student who enrolled for any certificate exam must promise to be of good moral conduct and be willing to abide by the rules and regulations governing the exam.
  • No Student in S.S.1 or S.S.2 is expected to enrol for SSCE. If this happens , the student will be expelled from the school.
  • It is the policy of the school that all fees and tuition must be settled before the commencement of exam may be deprived from participating until all fees are settled.
  • Students for BECE, WASSCE and SSCE are to present 8 recent sized, coloured passport photographs. Specifications for these photograph is determined by the examination bodies. For uniformity sake, DPEC has employed the services of professional photographer to capture the images of quqlified candidates for the examinations with a payment of a token.
